- Treatment of all sick livestock and to do artificial insemination for improvement of cattle.
- Prophylactic vaccination against contagious diseases of livestock and poultry.
- To render advice and technical guidance to farmer, public regarding rearing feeding, management and disease control of all type of livestock and poultry.
- To render veterinary aid and cover in the event of natural calamity.
- To issue Health Certificate in insured cattle and perform postmortem in veterolegal cases.
- To do extension work of Animal Husbandry in the field.
