NIXI pioneers the purpose of routing
the domestic traffic within the country, instead of taking it all the
way to US/Abroad, thereby resulting in better quality of service
(reduced latency) and reduced bandwidth charges for ISPs by saving on
International Bandwidth. NIXI is searching for the experienced Legal officer at its New Delhi location
Education Qualification
- LLB
Experience
- Handle the legal matters in PSU/Companies/Corporate Houses/Law Firms/Law Research Institutions
- Good experience in Drafting rules/regulation/responses to legal notices/vetting contracts is desirable
- Preferred exposure to an Internet or technical company

Responsibilities
- Handle the domain dispute complaints and checking it for compliances. Also processing the complaints by appointment of arbitrators.
- Experience in handling IPR or trademark law and infringement matters.
- Assist the arbitrators and parties for smooth and speedy dispute resolution during the arbitration process. Executes the awards; Keeps track of the cases
- Co-ordination with Legal Consultants, reviews the pleadings and follows up the cases pending before the courts.
- Provides necessary legal assistance in handling day to day legal issues for the .IN Registry, National Internet Registry and Internet Exchange.
- Drafting and review of agreements (SLAs, MOUs, other agreements relating to the internet relates issues)
- Must ensure compliance of Policies & Rules of the .IN Registry and take action on the request of the third parties, court orders, requests from government and law enforcement agencies.
- Provides legal support to RTI Officer and Appellate Authority also, as and when required.
